Program:
PAE has been commissioned by
NISSHA Printing Company to plan and
design a number of facilities within
their headquarters complex in Kyoto.
This Product Gallery Project, located
within the Headquarters Building, is
the latest PAE project in the complex.
The gallery, built as an annex to the
Customer Conference floor in the
Headquarters Building, is designed to
display NISSHA’s world class printing
technologies and products, and
consists of 2 distinct spaces. The
intermediate zone, located between
the Gallery and Conference reception
area, is a curved, highly finished space
that is highlighted by a glass object
d’art and presents company
milestones and messages from past
presidents. Past this space at the
opposite end of this transition zone is a
private gallery showcasing NISSHA’s
state of the art products are displayed
in an art museum-like setting.
